NAVLAR NAVAL Artillery Rocket System
NAVLAR is a fully stabilized system that has a clear advantage over naval guns against land based targets. Installed on vessels as small as 1,000 tons, NAVLAR provides massive mobile fire power against quality shore and land targets. Based on IMI's family of artillery rocket systems, NAVLAR fires LAR-160 rockets to effective ranges up to 45 km. This long range helps avoid enemy counter fire while enabling deep support for forces in combat operations. Its large fire concentration provides area saturation and maximum deployment of a large number of highly effective warheads and sub munitions over enemy targets.
